## Why: the goal or problem

An interface needs a restrained letter style with fewer terminal ornaments. Typeface names alone cannot establish whether its labels remain distinguishable.

## How: work toward a solution

All five specimens share a sentence, iiiWWW 0123, and the same numbers. Edit the specimen, adjust its size, and show measured width guides or tabular digits. Text remains shaped as one string. Reset or reload restores the initial text at 48px. Change weight to compare the same glyphs at different strengths.

**Sans serif** — Sans-serif letters omit serifs, but their terminals and proportions still vary.

Check ambiguous glyphs and localized CJK subsets instead of assuming universal readability.
